Easy Red Sauce
2 cans crushed or diced tomatoes 1 can tomato sauce 1 small can tomato paste 3 Tbsp dried basil 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1 tpsp dried onion 2 tpsp garlic powder 2 tpsp salt 2 Tbsp virgin olive oil Open all cans of tomatoes & put into sauce pot over low heat Combine all dried ingredients and olive oil stirring well and increasing the heat to medium high Keep stirring the sauce until you see small bubbles breaking through the top Reduce heat to low & let simmer for at least 30 minutes. Feel free to let it simmer for as long as you want, but be sure to keep stirring Serves 4 Serve over pasta with meatballs & sausage, top with Parmesan cheese
